Teach Me How to Factor

There is nothing that I love more than when teachers and students break boundaries to learn new material.  LOVE IT!  Westerville High School is a prime example.  They have a YouTube channel with 6 different videos taking math concepts and putting them to popular lyrics.  My favorite is "Teach Me How To Factor" to the tune of "Teach Me How to Dougie".  Not even going to lie, I love it!  LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!

I bet every single one of these students know the revised lyrics and have will always remember how to factor!  If you enjoyed this video be sure to check out their YouTube Channel.  All six videos are awesome.  I cannot wait to see what they come up with next!  Another favorite channel by teachers is HistoryTeachers, here they take historical events to popular songs.  My favorite of theirs is the Black Death  Do you know of any others?  I would LOVE to hear these- one of my favorite things ever!

Potential Life Changing Video about Poop and a Fun Chicken One too!

Today at school, several middle school students were raving about the YouTube Channel "Learn Something Every Day".  I can't miss something like that so I had to check it out!  I loved it!  Check out this potentially life changing video... probably not in the way you are imagining but interesting and enlightening nonetheless.

Don't lie.  It made you think didn't it!  Want to be further amazed?  Check out this chicken video.  I must be honest, next time I see a chicken it better watch out because this is now on my bucket list.... well maybe!  :-D

If you watched videos, did you learn something????

Spell with Flickr

Have you heard of this site?  It is seriously one of the easiest sites ever to use.  You type in any word that you would like and then click spell.  The site then pulls images of letters off of Flickr to make your word.  You can click each letter to change how it appears in your word.  Awesome!  I made a quick tutorial video that is embedded below you can also view it on MrsFullenkamp.com on the Technology Page.

I'm hoping to make this a regular thing so if there are other sites you want covered first let me know!

One of my Favorite YouTube Stations Ever!

History for Music Teachers is one of my favorite YouTube stations and I'm not even a history buff!  This channel is produced by a group of history teachers in Hawaii, they take a historic event and then put it to the tune of a popular song.  The Black Death to the tune of Holla Back Girl.  Awesome.  Simply awesome!

Fleas on Rats.  Fleas on Rats.  This History for Music Lovers has 53 different videos, although, so far this one is the best.  Hands down, although you may think otherwise!  You can find this and other equally awesome videos on the history page at mrsfullenkamp.com. What's your favorite educational YouTube Channel?
